What Bond Movies Am I Actually Going To Enjoy?
GoldenEye was the first Bond movie I ever saw, and I still think it’s the best and will argue that it’s the best convincingly five minutes longer than anyone would ever want to hear me. I didn’t have any easy time liking any since the Goldeneye except the new Casino Royale.
Sorry seasoned Bond lovers, but I went and watched Dr. No and hated it. Quarrel got unconvincingly burned alive but what was clearly not a dragon, but a poorly made parade-car that shot fire out of the front. James Bond is smart enough to know that. Not to rain too hard on your nostalgia parade, let’s just say it didn’t work for me. I actually ended up liking a View to a Kill, which was 70% because of Chris Walken.
I know, I should have watched all the Bond films by now, and the failure to do so represents a threat of man-card confiscation. But it’s not totally my fault. I hate editted-for-TV movies. So forgiving that, what are some solid Bond movies I might like?

Dr No is very dated and I think you have to be an old git like me to still get some enjoyment from it. Start with the newer Bonds and work backwards. That’s as far as I go when it comes to recommendations.

I too loved “Goldeneye” and “Casino Royale”. I also despise watching movies on television. Now that I got that out of the way, “Goldfinger” is the best of the older Bond movies.

I’ve seen them all.
If you want, you can check out this list of the Top Bond films. …
It would be best for you to decide for yourself. Though I really enjoyed License to Kill and Moonraker.

Depends on which actor you like best as Bond.
Most of them have been pretty good at the job.
My faves are Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, and George Lazenby (who only did one).
