I never knew 7 was a lucky number but I always thought of it as my lucky number. I think that 13 might be considered unlucky because Jesus originally had 13 disciples but after Judas betrayed him there were 12 disciples left. Stairs are built with 12 or more but not 13. I have never seen the 13th floor on an elevator.

7 is considered lucky because it is a holy number, the number 7 occours something like 2000 times in the bible, and the number 13 is just odd it is a prime number, and it isn’t considered to be unlucky for some, i guess it is all a matter of choice.

who says so? there is nothing such as lucky or unlucky numbers, we might like one number more or less.
I do not know why people started to call 13 unlucky …..

is actually just superstition. in the study of fortune of numbers, numerology 7 and 13 are lucky, but not the numbers 4 and 8. really good book, should look into it. =D

well,,i do not believe that but ,,they said because God creat the universe in 7 days,,because they believed before there were 7 planets,in the solar system,,,as for number 13,,because the studend (yahosa) who deliver Jesus to the Roman was number 13…and they said also Jesus was crossfied in the day 13 of the month was friday…(that is why they always say there is a cursed hour in friday esp if it was the 13 of the month….
